TranscendED's PHP is housed in a spacious, welcoming home, accommodating up to six clients. Each resident shares a bedroom with a peer, and the facility offers modern amenities, including Wi-Fi and communal areas. Located conveniently near shops and amenities, our home serves as a nurturing space for healing.
With flexible program durations averaging 8-12 weeks, we offer continued support through our PHP aftercare services. Our commitment to your recovery extends beyond your stay, ensuring ongoing support in your journey towards full recovery.
In the PHP, your initial nutrition session involves establishing a personalized meal plan with our dietitian. You'll have regular sessions to review and adjust this plan. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are prepared independently, while supper includes a shared meal with staff support. We ensure you have access to the foods needed for your meal plan, with groceries purchased regularly.
Our program respects and integrates all dietary preferences, including vegetarian and vegan diets. Treatment involves exploring and affirming these choices, ensuring they support your health and recovery goals, separate from any disordered eating patterns.
Our approach to using the scale is focused on fostering a healthy relationship with your body. We use the scale periodically to assist in normalizing weight perceptions and supporting trust in your body's natural set point. This process is part of developing a balanced perspective on weight and body image during recovery.
