Aftercare and Outpatient Services at TranscendED

TranscendED’s Aftercare and Outpatient Services are dedicated to supporting individuals in their ongoing journey towards recovery from eating disorders. Our aim is to facilitate a smooth transition from intensive treatment to everyday life, ensuring sustainable recovery and relapse prevention.

Comprehensive Aftercare Planning

From day one of admission, our team begins planning for your transition post-treatment. We prioritize creating a sustainable, individualized treatment plan that provides continuous support even after program completion. Our goal is to ensure that each client retains and practices the recovery skills acquired, maintaining progress at a less intensive level of care.

Group Therapy: Facilitating shared experiences and peer support.

Nutrition Education: Continuing the journey of mindful eating and nutritional balance.

Clinical Eating Disorder Groups: Focused discussions and therapeutic activities.

Specialized Outpatient Groups at TranscendED

TranscendED is committed to offering specialized outpatient group therapy sessions, each designed to cater to the unique needs of individuals recovering from eating disorders.

  • My Voice Matters Group: This group is specifically designed for young men aged 13-22 who are dealing with disordered eating. Under the guidance of Program Director Dean Quick, MT-BC, the “My Voice Matters” group provides a supportive, all-male environment to openly address and manage eating disorder challenges.
  • Recovery-Oriented Support Group: We also sponsor a free, inclusive support group in Matthews, NC, meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday night of each month. This group is open to individuals of all genders, offering a supportive and recovery-focused atmosphere to discuss eating disorder struggles and share experiences in recovery. These groups reflect our dedication to providing a range of supportive environments, ensuring everyone on their path to recovery finds a group where they feel understood and supported.

Seamless Coordination with Primary Care Providers

Our medical and clinical staff collaborate closely with primary care providers, ensuring they are informed about the treatment progress. Upon discharge, we connect clients with specialist eating disorder services in the community for extended support and healing.
